Growing a better tomorrow
The AUT community garden initiative was originally established in 2019. This grassroots project began as a component of the Lifestyle Nutrition paper, giving students within the Bachelor of Sport and Recreation the opportunity to apply their lifestyle nutrition knowledge in the local AUT community.
Today, the AUT community garden initiative involves a range of staff and student initiatives across the three AUT campuses, with the overall those of supporting nutrition, sustainability, and health.
